In the current world scenario, it is not possible to talk about Agriculture without including the term Sustainability in the same sentence. Because of this, Union Trading seeks partners who are ready or willing to address this issue. In order for a type of verification of these activities and daily tasks to be possible, the company has joined internationally renowned certifiers, namely:

UTZ is a sustainability program for coffee, cocoa and tea that operates in conjunction with existing brands. Farmers can improve their productivity, product quality and efficiency, taking care of people and the environment. This allows them to produce higher volumes at lower costs, which improves the standard of living of agricultural communities. Consumers can enjoy their favorite brand and, at the same time, contribute to a sustainable world.

The Common Code for the Coffee Community (4C) was created through a participatory, extensive, transparent and balanced consultation with coffee stakeholders around the world and is operationalized by the 4C Services. The 4C certification aims to gradually increase the social, economic and environmental conditions of coffee production and processing worldwide.

The Rainforest Alliance Certified ™ seal is awarded to farms, forests and companies that meet strict environmental and social standards.

The CAFEMUNDI Function created by Icona Cafe, is the implementation of development programs in coffee areas, through micro-projects of direct actions that guarantee speed, transparency and immediate results to the places that need more help.
